| CosmoDerm® and CosmoPlast® are two parts of Allergan's Collagen Replacement Therapy™
that rejuvenates the face and smoothes wrinkles. Approved by the U.S.
Food and Drug Administration in 2003, they are the first and only human
collagen dermal fillers approved for the treatment of fine lines and
lip border. CosmoDerm is used for fine lines such as crow's feet
and the fine lines radiating above the lips while CosmoPlast is used in the treatment
of deeper lines and furrows and lip augmentation. Treatment results are immediate and typically last three to six
months, depending on the area being treated. Without ongoing treatments,
the collagen is gradually absorbed by the body and your face returns to
its original contours.
